Intervention (Tier 2) – Secondary program

Small groups of students (10-25%)

Some students need a additional assistance and it is in Tier 2 that these individuals receive that help. Mental health interventions and supports are delivered in smaller counseling group settings and these targeted support allows students to work together. The benefits of Tier 2 offer students the opportunity to discuss issues with their peers who may better understand and emphasize with each other. It also also allows them to learn from those who have similar problems or who may have gone through a similar situation and can offer support.
